Guys,

Just planing a few winter jobs whilst the tiger is laid up.
I've only had her 6months but the carbs are 2009, runs great but a little lumpy in 1st and they're dirty plus I think the float is sticky sometimes.
So I'm thinking of taking them off and servicing/cleaning during winter then a rolling road in spring to setup properly.
Anyone got any experience on servicing/cleaning weber 45s?

Any tips/comments?

Any good roads in Yorkshire for weber tuning?

Cheers,

Greg

Hi Greg

I did the same job this year. All pretty straightforward. You can buy service kits with all the gaskets, seals washers, and float valves etc. Cellulose thinners is good for cleaning the grime off the outside and you can finish off with a nice new set of screws. Ebay is your friend here.

good luck
Andy
