I think the R6 had floor mounted pedals so you should have more room - I am 6'1 and fitted a super 6 fine. How tall are you?

Super 6 is narrow and I struggled to be comfortable. R6 is wider but the Supercat is very generous.

The Cat and Supercat are the same size in the cockpit but the Cat XL is bigger/wider in the cockpit. The Cat's are wider the on drivers side than the passenger side because the prop is offset and the tunnel is accordingly.

Was there ever any size discrepancies? I’m sure my Supercat is 20mm wider on the passenger side than my E1.

As no 2 kits are absolutely the same yours may be slightly wider as the chassis's are made up on a basic jig so maybe minor differences.
The passenger side is certainly narrower, bit tight for my wife's child bearing hips.
My youngest son's wife said the other day said she had not been out in my Cat but how can I tell her she might not get her lardy ass in ! [frown][nono] Nice girl and a paramedic so sitting a lot and eating fast food which doesn't help [love]

Bahaha. My wife looked at the GRP seats about to go in mine, she had a contemplative ‘will I fit’ look on her face. 😁

After building mine let the wife have a drive. She was not too keen on the brakes as had to tell her to push harder then harder to slow it down.
She has never driven any thing without a servo.
Now only drives auto's so I get to drive MY Cat every time [smile]

There will be some, but mainly being floor fitted will give much more room. Worth sitting in one and trying.
