After being laid up for many years, I decided to get the heap back on the road again last summer, after a few issues (well lots, its a good job I have a car trailer) we done a few miles put away, then ages past bit more work & its MOT'd again ready to use & abuse.

Its a super six with a 2.1 pinto which up to the weekend has always run a reasonable temperature, fan kicks in & stops ok. Call it lack of maintenance but I forgot about the coolant & I cooked it on Sunday
going to flush it flush through but I expect that I am in for a new radiator. Its got the standard Tiger rad anybody know what I should replace it with ?

polo rads are cheap as chips - about £35 for a new one and it should be able to be positioned vertically rather than at an angle..

Excellent, but excuse my ignorance any one in particular, I'll give it a good flushing with the Holt's 2 part stuff which I have found to work in the past, then put a new rad in.
