Hi,

Just switching from a Pinto to a Zetec in my CAT E1, so need to cut a hole in my (other) side panel for the exhaust primaries to exit the engine bay.

Does anyone have a pattern for this or sage advice on how to do a decent job ? I have seen many Tigers and some have very neat well placed cut outs, other largish holes.

Thanks for the advice...

Have a look at this thread on here it's what I used as a starting point and came out quite well.

Hi Rick,

Yeh, that'll help - thanks a bunch. You just need that starting point.

Should have gone Duratec, it's the same way as the Pinto and it all lined up with mine (well I had to make the hole a little bigger)

I'm just installing twin webber carburetors to my 1991 tiger on ford crossflow. I need to close the hole where the last filter came out and cut a new hole for the twin webbers to stick out. Are there any restrictions for passing Mot to how big the hole is on the side?
