Hi Guys,

I am a new-ish Tiger owner in NI, having owned this hillclimb /track car for a few months. It was built and raced over here by a wrc mechanic in 2011.

So far I have completed 3 trackdays and one hill climb ,and am looking forward to my first sprint this weekend.

Really LOVE the car!!   Cheers,Paul.

Looks lovely.....Where do you do the trackdays in NI?  Was thinking of  a road trip over there and saw there is a kirkistown track.... but I could not see any car trackday events just bike ones?

Thanks.

Kirkistown runs one car trackday every month on a Sunday.(http://www.trackskills.com.) Its a fast circuit and very enjoyable.Open pit lane and you will get loads of track time.

The only other racetrack that does trackdays in Ireland is Mondello Park outside Dublin which is a great circuit and if you check their website the dates should be there.

Love the car , especially the little wings on the front nose cone ,
obviously to stop it taking off.
Do you have a flat shift or paddle gear change system,
l am about to spend £1200 on one and could do with some advice.
Thanks,

Simon, ZX12R Tiger R6.

Hi Simon,

No paddle shift or flat change (as yet!)so can't help sorry-although a couple of the guys I'm competing with have. My plan is to leave the car as it is and do another 3 sprints and 3 hillclimbs this year, then think about how to develop the car (if at all) over the winter.

Another run up Garron Point from Saturday. Similar weather conditions with only difference being that the car is now fitted with MBE Management with flat shift and the driver  has a bit more experience!. Took 0.5 sec off last years run which was good enough for a class win and new class record for the hill.
