LSD for the Supersix are very rare, I believe only a handful where ever made. The axle will be from a Cortina and most likely the koln axle. it is not not an altas axle.

Really, I have a Supersix and pretty sure it has what looks to be a Sierra 7inch diff fitted.

Your signature says you have a super cat which does use the Sierra diff, the super six is different.

Thanks for all the replies that have been sent in. As this axle appears to present problems, can someone suggest another axle to have LSD fitted.

I'm wondering whether the Super Six can be modified to take the R6 back end which then uses a Sierra diff?

Maybe speak with Paul @ Tiger as he would know.

Morning, I've a super six and had issues snapping the half shafts.
There are two sorts of Cortina axles. The first is the Koln axle which is weak.
The second is the Cortina atlas axle which is much stronger. This Cortina atlas axle had the same internals as a capri atlas axle except it is the Cortina width and uses longer half shafts. Now the challenge is to find a Cortina atlas axle and then a capri 2.8 with a lsd in it as standard, swap the diffs around and hay presto. You've got an axle good for 400hp with lsd and is easy enough to make an adaptor plate to fit disc brakes.
