And still not driven it [eek] , wanted a sort a few things first, so not a "build" post as it has already been built but a "tidy up" post [smile]

So I picked it up and just about got it on the trailer!

Got it home and started to strip bits off to see how it ticked [biggrin] , engine and box are sorted but needed some tlc on the cracking paint and some tidy up on the electrics.... so we went from this >

Looks great. What did you use for the dash btw, also might want to fit a boot over the connecter for your display/guage, stop the water getting in it...

Cheers
Chris

Glad to see our mate Tony’s car has gone to someone who cares about it. He/ we at NWATOC had many a great blat with him in that car. Looks like it’s in good hands.

Hi Chris, the dash, sides, tunnel etc.. are all done with carbon sheet from carbon mods / easy composites

https://www.easycomposites.co.uk/#!/cured-carbon-fibre-products/rigid-carbon-fibre-sheet/High-Strength-Carbon-Fibre-Sheet-1mm.html

Not my work, Tony did all that....

The LCD is stuck there with valcro so it sticks under the dash when needed, so protected [smile] but maybe a good idea to fit a boot anywhere.... off to find one now lol

Wow speedy work mate, nice one! I like the way you’ve done the aero screen all blended in. Pics of the gel badge when you’re ready! 😁

Not had a lot of time to get in there the past week but added a few gels, wheel centers and a "something different" on the rear lol, got to paint the rear diffuser tonight so will get that fitted tomorrow
Had to walk away from it the other night as I noticed I had no reverse lights working (Yes I no now haha) so after 2 hours tracing the wiring back and taken bits off I clicked that maybe it didn't have revers lights [rofl][rofl] the white LED ring which I thought were revers lights, light up red [crazy]

Looking great mate! Gel stickers look ace, almost edible!
Good fun personalising a car like this to your own taste, although a million ideas running around in your brain when you’re trying to sleep can be quite annoying 🤪
Tiger head looks good, I’ve got my eye on an eBay tiger head at the mo. Some of the tiger head stickers on eBay look like demented deformed cats 🤣
LED light story.. haha brilliant 🤣🤣🤣

You don't need a reverse light to pass an MOT, my switch went years ago!
