I’ve forgotten how much work fibreglass repairing is and I’ve only been at it ten hours so far. Quite therapeutic though :)
This is the last time you’ll see Tigger in blue as I’m spraying him orange and black :)

What are you using for the repairs?  I'd be interested to know.

Looks like you are doing a good job!

How frustrating! Don’t worry... I’ll drop you a pm when I get to that point (many, many months from now!).

Look forward to seeing the progress pics.

Just waiting for parts to arrive! It’s more frustrating that I thought.

I think I’m going to go and get the stuff to start doing the bits and pieces of surface rust. That will keep me occupied until Christmas (none of it is bad but there’s lots of it).

Surface rust on the chassis and stuff like that? Have you got a power file in your tool collection. I’ve used this one for years on cars and in my job. Brilliant bit of kit and I sanded most of the chassis surface rust within two weeks and repainted. You can change grades of sandpaper too.

Not yet mate... it will be old fashioned way to start.  I've spent by budget (and a bit more) [smile]

Obviously had to impatiently get the nose back on to check out how it looks. Funny, the orange looks like red in certain pics. Weird

Thanks Jim. Quite a time consuming process as you’ll know, but well worth it!

Thanks Mark. Yeah sure am! All orange except front and back wings, they’ll be in gloss black. I may do some sort of middle stripe or stripes. Will see how the mood takes me 😁

When I sprayed my Supercat orange I bought cellulose from a firm in Bedford and it was a special mix, no ral number etc but it was called " Bright Orange "  and I used high gloss thinners so no need for a lacquer coat.
