Hi all,

I just thought that I'd pass on a recommendation for a company that I've just used to sort out my bike carbs and to do a rolling road test.

They're called the Southam Mini Metro Centre and their address is:
Brickyard Rd, Napton on the Hill, Warwickshire CV47 8NT
Tel: Colin on 01926 815681

They can be found on Facebook, if you're interested. They did a great job on my Supercat and a rolling road test for £140 (ex VAT) albeit that I didn't need any rejetting.

So, if you're in the region and you want your carbs checking over or a rolling road set up, I'd suggest giving Colin a ring. I only live down the road and hadn't come across them until about a month ago!

Hope this is a helpful recommendation.

All the best,

Paul.

I`m running the same set up as you in my Cat. Did they adjust your megajolt map or just tune up the carbs? Which bike carbs are you using and did you get a BHP figure from them at the end of your session. Seems good value. Thanks for posting this up, I`m not that far away so am considering making a trip there myself as I`m sure I`m over fuelling.

Hi Snippy,

They didn't adjust the maps, just the bike carbs, which are from a Kawasaki ZX9 (I think!).

They gave me a rolling road figure of 140bhp at the wheels (not the flywheel) which is probably about right for a 2.0L silver top in standard form on a standard map.

Cheers,

Paul.
