Hi all,

I am overhauling the front brakes (M16 solid disc to Cortina hub).

I am not sure the correct "caliper to hub" bolt is in there right now.

My metric bolt measuring device (I don't have an imperial one) tells me it is an M12 x 1.75 course thread.  It is part threaded but does not have a "shoulder".

RallyDesign say the bolt is likely a 7/16" UNF with shoulder with shank diameter of 11.85mm, as they describe it. https://www.rallydesign.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=562_588&products_id=24741

So I am reaching out to see if anyone has knowledge of what I should be using.

Thanks in advance,

Problem solved.

Found my vernier caliper.
The bolt is 7/16 UNF.

So will buy a fresh set.

Remember to get bolts with the correct Tensile Strength so they dont go ping when you need them.

aye, I think 8.8 will do the trick.
In the end I ordered some from Tiger.  And will likely grab some spares at Autosport
